I like to think there is a zombie in all of us. I see myself as a zombie every morning trying to get up from a night of sleep. I also see a zombie when times are tough, things happen that I don’t like or I just plain don’t feel well on the inside. Life can be hard but we never have to allow the zombie in us to keep us down.

Thrill The World Charlotte is more than a dance. We are truly awakening the dead that we may be feeling on the inside. When the dance takes place it will be nearing the end of the year, entering into a season of thankfulness, celebration and new beginnings. I believe this dance is symbolic of awakening what is dead on the inside and coming alive again. What better way of shaking off what is bugging us than to celebrate the wonderful things in life.

Most importantly we dance to help others that are less fortunate than we are. When we turn our attention to others and their needs, we find that we are blessed in so many ways. We just forget sometimes.
